EFL To Host Trophy Fans Forum

The EFL are to host a Fan Forum to discuss the EFL Trophy on Monday 10th December at Wembley Stadium in London.

Prominent supporter groups received notifications distributed from clubs on Tuesday, requesting applications to the forum.

The event, as described by the EFL will “bring together a panel including EFL Chief Executive Shaun Harvey, managers, players, Club CEOs and other individuals from across the game to discuss the competition”

Tickets are initially limited to 6 per club but groups have been told this can be raised if demand is high.

The forum marks a remarkable shift in EFL policy, with the governing body always reluctant to openly engage with supporters over the competition.

Accompanying documentation shows that, in line with other EFL forum events, attendees will be heavily vetted.

No information was available at the time of writing regarding any potential broadcast or publication of the event.
